Nominate your Celebrity Sustainability Hero of the Year
There is no denying 2020 has been a year unlike any other. But, amidst 12 months filled with Zoom pub quizzes, clapping on Thursday evenings, and eating out to help out, sustainability has remained firmly on the agenda.
So, this year, Beyond the Box is launching the inaugural Celebrity Sustainability Hero of the Year award, where we will recognise the famous face who has had the biggest impact.
Tell us which well-known individual has encouraged you to be extra eco-friendly this year – whether that’s by encouraging you to make recycling a bigger priority, reminding you to dispose of your rubbish responsibly or inspiring you to choose more sustainable packaging materials when you hit the shops.
The winning celebrity will be immortalised in an impressive cardboard sculpture created using layer upon layer of double flute corrugated cardboard. (Who needs an awards statue when you can have a 3-foot cardboard bust created in your likeness – are we right?)
Simply use the form below to submit your nomination.
Nominations for the Celebrity Sustainability Hero of the Year award should be celebrities or famous faces known to the British public. All eligible nominations will be considered as part of the Beyond the Box shortlisting process and members of the public will vote on the shortlist to determine the eventual winner. There is no limit on the number of nominations any one person can submit. Voting is open between Wednesday 4th November and Tuesday 10th November 2020. Nominations received outside of this timeframe will not be considered.
